This is a BLE dongle for controlling electric vehicle battery management systems (BMS) through a smartphone. It is based on the nRF52840 microcontroller. I designed and developed the complete hardware and firmware, including the circuit schematic and PCB. The system enables electric rickshaw drivers to pay for battery recharging via their smartphones. Upon successful payment, the dongle communicates with the BMS to authorize and control the charging duration according to the amount paid, providing a convenient pay-as-you-charge solution.
